We would like to thank all of you who came out and participated in the “Shop with a Cop” program yesterday at the Target Store.

190 kids went shopping for Christmas who otherwise would not have had a Christmas. The Charity that funds “Shop with a Cop” spent approximately $29,000.00 on this event. I would like to thank Director Lloyd, Chief Hatfield, Deputy Chief Mull, Deputy Chief Storey and the rest of the command staff for their cooperation and help in putting this event together.

And last but surely not least a BIG thanks to Sgt. Jorge Mestre for his handling of the program at the store, Detective Steve Brawner who put all the logistics together to get the kids there and back and the members of the Auxiliary for their all out support of the event.

It is however the officers who come and participate that make this program the success that it is.
