FOP Cops & Kids 2009

Once again we had a very successful Christmas Season helping children in need.  So far we have accomplished the following:

Gave $2,000 to the Cobb County Senior Santa program to provide gifts to some of our senior citizens who would not receive anything during the holidays.

Spent $2,000 on Holiday Food Baskets for those in need.  Items will be distributed in Cobb, Cherokee, Paulding and Douglas County. 

Provided Christmas to a total of 214 kids in need through our Christmas Store at the Lodge and the annual FOP Cops & Kids program (formerly called Shop with a Cop).  Total cost of the program this year was $19,555.  Many thanks to all of those businesses and individuals who gave of their time and donations to make this a highly successful program.

 

Please remember this does not end our need for donations.  We raise funds throughout the year for this and other activities we sponsor.  Your continued support is critical and greatly appreciated.

This year we distributed school supplies to :  Scoggins Middle School, Dobbins Middle School, South Paulding Middle School, Ragsdale Elementary, Union Elementary, Abney Elementary, Dallas Elementary and Nebo Elementary.  Many thanks to all who gave of their time to make this program a success.
