Lodge Business
Treasurer reports the
financial health of the lodge is okay. A complete
financial statement is available during each monthly meeting or
available from the Lodge Treasurer upon request.
We continue
to have issues over due's automatically deducted from C-Mar
accounts with members having insufficient funds to cover the
monthly costs. The executive boards is currently looking
at avenues to address this continuing problem.
Regular &
Life membership
cards have gone out. Unfortunately, once again we
have numerous issues in which the packages are returned due to
bad addresses. All members are strongly encouraged to keep
all of their contact information up to date.
All you have to do is click the "Membership Update" link on the
top left of this page and fill out the online information update
form. Once you click submit your information automatically
goes to the lodge secretary.
Expired
memberships are currently being dealt with. Members not
current will receive a post card in the mail notifying them of
the suspension of their benefits.
Our 2008 taxes should be
done soon.
Membership voted to pay the
2009 membership due's for one of our members currently serving
in Iraq and one of our members on extended medical leave.

ABI is our new business telemarketer
for the lodge and
LEO-AFC
Inc. is our new residential telemarketer.

Police Memorial:
The memorial on the square in
Marietta was a huge success many thanks to all
who helped with this event. A special
thanks to Sister Nerbonne for being the
coordinator. Plans are already in the
works for next year.

Brother Al Hagen with his continuing battle with cancer.
He is currently in hospice.
Brother Eddie Herman recently had a medical procedure.
Brother Mike Nolin on medical leave due to continuing health
problems.
Penny Sellect mother of Officer Mike Sellect, Acworth PD, passed
away.
Please keep all of these
members and families in your thoughts and prayers.

Critical Incident Lodge Attorney-

Members "do not"
need the approval of the legal committee if you are
involved in a critical / use of force incident. The member or his
representative holds sole responsibility for contacting one of our four
attorney's should the
need arise.
If you are in need of an attorney for any other purpose a member of the Legal
Committee must be called before contacting an attorney. If you do not clear the
contact of an attorney through the Legal Committee the Lodge will not pay for
the legal services.
