at avenues to address this continuing problem.

bad addresses. All members are strongly encouraged to keep
all of their contact information up to date.
All you have to do is click the "Membership Update" link on the
top left of this page and fill out the online information update

The recent representation of a
Cobb Officer is Magistrates Court by one of our
Critical Incident Attorney Bill McKinney was a
resounding success. The Chief Magistrate
Frank Cox said as far as he was concerned the
case was finished and a warrant would not be
issues. Many thanks to Bill for his
expertise.
Florida Committee 2009:

date information on the "Upcoming Events" page.
Sponsorships
Brother
Whitmire requested a donation from the Lodge for the annual
Georgia Police Memorial Ride to be held April 25th at
9am. The starting point will be Turner Field. This year they
will honor one of our own, Brother Freddie Norman.
Membership voted a donation of $500 to the ride.
Representatives of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club thanked the
lodge members for their continuing support of the annual Police
Officer Memorial Ride. They reported even in this down
economy it was a huge success and raised a lot of money for the
National Memorial Fund.
Sick & Distressed
A get well card has been sent
to Brother Al Hagen due to his continuing battle with cancer.
We wish him well as he continues in our thoughts and prayers

Critical Incident Lodge Attorney-
Members "do not"
need the approval of the legal committee if you are
involved in a critical / use of force incident. The member or his
representative holds sole responsibility for contacting one of our four
attorney's should the
need arise.
If you are in need of an attorney for any other purpose a member of the Legal
Committee must be called before contacting an attorney. If you do not clear the
contact of an attorney through the Legal Committee the Lodge will not pay for
the legal services.
